OPS Dashboard

Web platform · Client work

An operations system for a company in Saudi Arabia that runs many sites. It brings budgets, unpaid invoices, a 4,500-person workforce register, tasks and HR approvals into one web app, with access controlled by role.

What it does

Managers use OPS to see how each site is doing against its budget, follow up on unpaid invoices, assign and hand over tasks, and handle HR paperwork. Everything is filtered by site, so a site manager sees their own locations and an area manager sees all of them.

Main modules

  • Dashboard with tabs for tasks, locations, workforce, financials, performance and gate passes
  • Tasks with break-down, hand-over, approval and a calendar view
  • Workforce register of 4,500+ employees, with documents and Excel import and export
  • Flash reports: a monthly financial report per site, uploaded, verified and approved
  • Budgets and variance: budget against actual for every site
  • Unpaid invoices with aging and an import wizard
  • HR requests for leave, travel and personnel actions, with e-signatures and generated PDFs
  • Gate passes, manager KPIs, and in-app and web push notifications

Access control

Every role is either limited to specific sites or company-wide. Admins can create custom roles, pick their permissions, handle access requests and review a permission audit.

How it is built

The first version used Flutter Web with a Laravel API. In 2026 we rebuilt the frontend in Next.js with React and TypeScript on the same Laravel 12 backend. The API runs on a DigitalOcean server and the web app on DigitalOcean App Platform, and both deploy automatically from GitHub.

Screens

Money, names, sites and client details are blurred in every screenshot.
