QuillForge: AI Notes & Content (“QuillForge”, “the App”, “we”, “our”) is an AI-powered note-taking and content generation application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your data. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

A. User-Provided Content

We collect content that you intentionally create or submit within the App, including:

• Text notes
• Voice recordings for voice-to-note features
• Images captured or uploaded for text scanning
• Prompts submitted for AI content generation

This information is used solely to provide the requested App features.

B. Permissions and Purpose

• Camera: Used only when you scan or capture images for text recognition.
• Microphone: Used only when recording voice notes. The microphone is never accessed in the background.
• Storage / Media Access: Used only to read or save media you select within the App.
• Internet / Network: Required for AI processing, subscription validation, and ad delivery.

C. AI Processing (OpenAI / ChatGPT Models)

When using AI features, your prompts and related content are securely transmitted to OpenAI’s API. We do not sell, share, or publicly expose your content. AI processing is used only to generate requested outputs.

D. Advertising

The free version of the App may display ads via Google Mobile Ads. Advertising partners may collect anonymized device and interaction data. Premium subscribers do not see ads.

E. In-App Purchases

All subscriptions and payments are processed through Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchases. We do not store or process your payment information.

3. Data Storage & Security

Notes are stored locally on your device. AI prompts are transmitted securely and not publicly stored. We apply standard security measures, but no system is completely invulnerable.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data. Data may be shared with:

• AI providers (OpenAI) to generate requested content
• Advertising providers (Google) for ad delivery
• Payment processors (Google Play / Apple) for subscriptions

5. Data Retention

Your content remains on your device unless sent for AI processing. You can delete any content at any time. We do not retain AI prompts beyond processing.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
